Powered Pallet Truck, Mid-Level Stacker and High Level Stacker - Course Details
Course intro:
This Powered Pallet Truck, Mid-Level Stacker and High Level Stacker Training course, is a 4 to 5 hr course with a max of 4 per course, designed to provide trainees with knowledge and skills necessary for driving the above PPT and Stacker. These 3 courses are separate but with experience persons, may be integrated.
Please note this course is delivered as in-house training with a practical part which must be observed and all attendees participate in.
Powered Pallet truck, for moving pallets laden and unladen around a warehouse
Mid level stacker, is a powered pallet truck that can stack pallets up to eye level
High Level stacker can stack pallets up to 3 metres high

- Introduction & Objectives setting
- Safe operating practices and local policy
- Basics of Powered Pallet Truck, Mid-Level Stacker and High Level Stacker
- Explanation, demonstration and guided practice when operating the above powered machinery
- Pre start checks
- Correct operating procedures and work instructions
- Attachments and pallets
- (SWL) Safe working loads
- Battery care or refuelling
- Mechanical Machinery stability
- Practical training/Video
- Competence testing
- Questions and Evaluations
Intended audience
This Powered Pallet Truck, Mid-Level Stacker and High Level Stacker courses is to certify staff in the above stackers or PPT. Experience of operators will dictate the types of course.
Entry requirements
Minimum age- 18 years old
Minimum English requirements: Leaners must be able to understand and convey the concepts contained in the programme content.
