Heartsaver - Course Details

Course intro:

The Heartsaver & Cardiac First Response Instructor Course is a 2 day course, designed and certified by the Irish Heart Foundation, to teach non-healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge to facilitate CPR training in their organisation or in the community.

 

Candidates are required to have completed the Full Heartsaver CPR AED Course as a pre-requisite to attend the Heartsaver / CFR Instructor Course and this provider certification must be in date at the time of attending the instructor course.

Who is the course intended for:

The Heartsaver / CFR Community Instructor Course will suit community groups, sports clubs and societies.

Please note that candidates completing the Heartsaver / CFR Community Instructor Course will be qualified to teach at layperson level only, NOT at Healthcare provider level, therefore this course is only applicable for those wishing to teach layperson CPR and AED courses.

Candidates are required to have completed the full Heartsaver AED Course as a pre-requisite to attend the Heartsaver / CFR Instructor Course and this provider certification must be in date at the time of attending the instructor course.

Candidates who wish to undertake this course must have a very high level of skill proficiency.
